Do you require appointments?
We do require appointments for bridal consultations. We may, however, have some availability for same-day consultations. Please call our store during our regular hours to schedule an appointment, or visit our booking page. Note that we welcome walk-ins for formalwear consultations.
What sizes do you carry?
At Second Time A Gown, we strive to make every shopper comfortable and confident. Therefore, we carry a wide range of sizes, typically from US size 00 to 24. Please note that formalwear often runs smaller than casual attire, so you may need to size up. If you don't know what size you wear, we will be happy to measure you!
How do you source your gowns?
We do not consign, nor do we typically purchase gowns from individuals. We gladly accept donations. In the event that may you choose to donate to us, we can provide a donation receipt. Though many of our gowns are secondhand, we do have some brand new inventory.
What are your return and hold policies?
We do not allow returns, nor do we do holds. Due to the nature of our business and our commitment to providing only the highest quality pre-owned gowns, all sales are final. We do not offer store credit or refunds for any purchases. You are encouraged to thoroughly inspect your gowns before purchasing to ensure satisfaction.
What does your inventory consist of?
Items in our inventory change frequently, but we consistently carry a variety of ladies' long formal gowns, juniors' homecoming and prom dresses, mother of the bride/groom dresses, bridesmaid dresses, and wedding gowns. We also carry accessories; this includes veils, clutch purses, and belts. At this time, we do not carry cocktail length dresses.
Do you provide in-house alterations?
We do not provide alteration services, though we will refer you to a highly skilled business partner of ours should you need alterations to a gown purchased from us. Please inquire about our alterations partner at the time of your purchase.
